Terms for making things weird.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Builder of Things Studio LLC ("Builder of Things," "we," "us," or "our") for Reimagine: Camera Chaos ("Reimagine"). By using Reimagine, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the online Reimagine features.
Who may use Reimagine
The online Reimagine transformations are for people age 13 and older. If you are 13–17, you may use them only with permission from a parent or guardian. The app’s on-device camera features remain available without an online Reimagine account.
Your photos and permission
You keep your rights in photos you submit and results you receive, to the extent allowed by law. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, process, and display submitted photos and results only as needed to provide recovery, security, and support for Reimagine. This permission ends when the information is deleted, except for limited backup, security, legal, or audit records described in the Privacy Policy.
You may submit a photo only if you own it or have permission from every person whose rights may be affected by the transformation. Saving or sharing a result is your choice and responsibility.
Creative AI, not factual output
Reimagine results are automated, fictional creative works. They may be inaccurate, unexpected, offensive, incomplete, or may not resemble the person. Age Me is an imaginative interpretation, not a prediction.
Do not use a result to identify a person or for authentication, medical, legal, employment, education, credit, housing, insurance, safety, or any other consequential decision.
Acceptable use
Do not use Reimagine to:
- harass, threaten, shame, exploit, sexualize, or deceive another person;
- create sexual or exploitative content involving a minor;
- impersonate someone or misrepresent an AI-generated image as authentic evidence;
- violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights;
- break the law, bypass safeguards, probe the service, automate abusive requests, or interfere with other users; or
- resell, transfer, or fraudulently obtain accounts, subscriptions, or credits.
We may refuse a generation, remove access to online features, or suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect people or the service, respond to law, or investigate fraud or security issues.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity through your Reimagine identity and for keeping your Apple account and device secure. Sign in with Apple may link your balance across devices. You can delete your Reimagine account in the app; deletion permanently removes remaining credits and cannot be undone.
Credits, purchases, and subscriptions
- Credits are a limited, non-transferable right to request eligible Reimagine transformations. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged outside the app.
- Purchased credit-pack credits do not expire while your account remains open and the underlying purchase remains valid.
- Reimagine Pass is an auto-renewable monthly subscription that includes the number of monthly credits shown before purchase. Monthly credits are used first, do not roll over, and stop being available at the end of the applicable paid billing period. Canceling stops the next renewal; it does not end the current paid period early.
- Apple displays the localized price and billing terms before purchase, charges your Apple account, processes renewals, and provides subscription management and monetary refund channels. You can manage or cancel Reimagine Pass in Apple’s subscription settings.
- If Apple refunds or revokes a transaction, the corresponding credits may be removed. If those credits were already used, later credits may first offset the resulting negative purchased-credit balance.
- Free or courtesy credits may have separate promotional limits disclosed when granted.
A provider failure, timeout, or moderation block should not consume a credit. If a charged generation fails, use the in-app support flow so we can investigate and restore eligible credits. Apple, not Builder of Things, decides monetary refund requests.
Our app and intellectual property
Reimagine, its software, design, branding, and bundled materials belong to Builder of Things or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose. They do not let you copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Availability and changes
Online transformations depend on networks and third-party services and may occasionally be delayed, unavailable, or changed. We may add, remove, or revise effects and reasonable service limits. We will not knowingly remove valid purchased credit-pack credits merely because a catalog effect changes.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reimagine is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect resemblance, error-free output, or that any result will meet your expectations. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Builder of Things will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from Reimagine. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to paid Reimagine services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for those services during the 12 months before the claim or US $50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Apple terms
These Terms supplement Apple’s applicable Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store terms. If those terms conflict with these Terms on a matter Apple controls, Apple’s terms apply. Apple is not responsible for providing Reimagine support.
Governing law
Colorado law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction continue to apply. Nothing here requires individual arbitration or waives participation in a class action.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as Reimagine changes. Material changes will be posted with a new date and, when appropriate, presented in the app. Questions can be sent to jason@builderofthings.studio.
